Psychologist/Behaviour Support Practitioner

Andrew is a registered Psychologist and Behaviour Support Practitioner with a Bachelor of Arts and a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology.

He specialises in developing evidence-base and person-centred Behaviour Support Plans for adults and youth with mental health concerns and a range of developmental and cognitive disabilities. Andrew has worked across mental health, disability and school settings, assisting his clients to reduce behaviours of concern and overcome barriers to improving their quality of life. His range of experience extends to clients with multiple and complex needs and he brings a high level of skill in working with support teams and broader systems to promote a cohesive approach and achieve real change. Andrew also has a great working knowledge of the NDIS and the particular support needs of participants throughout his previous roles as a support co-ordinator and manager of support worker team, ensuring he truly understand the specific needs and challenges of those he supports. Andrew is a very warm and engaging practitioner who champions a collaborative, values-based approach to psychological intervention.
